Mendoza is the centre of Argentina's wine industry and is a must for any golfer who also thinks of himself as a wine buff.
Mendoza is set at the foot of the mighty Andes, in fact the largest mountain in all the America's is but a few miles away, Mount Aconcagua.
There are two golf courses to play whilst visiting the old colonial city of Mendoza which was founded in 1561 although completely rebuilt in the 1800's. We recommend a few days here in the beautiful city visiting the wineries, playing golf and taking in the magnificent views of the Andes.
