Tsada Golf Club
is the oldest course in Cyprus
and has a sort of rustic feel to it, with fairways that are more natural
than manicured running through fruit orchards and vineyards. It's a pleasant
course where accuracy is more important than length - though the sloping
fairways mean you'll play precious few shots off a flat surface. Set 500m
above sea level, there are lovely views of the coastline and Paphos town.
An enjoyable course for high and low handicappers alike.

Secret Valley
as the name suggests, is set in a
valley and is surrounded by beautiful natural rock. It has an excellent layout
on well-maintained fairways and, although it's only a few years old, the ample
vegetation gives it the feel of a well-established course. The fairways are
well separated so we often got the feeling of being almost alone when we played
here. We also enjoyed the warm wind that wafts gently down from the neighbouring
hills.

Aphrodite Hills The recently opened Aphrodite Hills sits on
cliffs above the beach where the goddess after whom it's named reputedly
emerged from the sea. Surrounded by protected forest, the course is cut
in two by a dramatic deep ravine, which must be carried on several tee shots.
Aphrodite Hills has been built as part of a multi-million-pound resort aimed
at putting Cyprus firmly on the international golf circuit and is going
to be a big crowd-puller, so we suggest you get there fast before the crowds
arrive.
